Though Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman is adamant about his retirement from the role, both his fans and Ryan Reynolds still want to see the actor return for a possible crossover with Deadpool, to the point where Reynolds even jokingly called Jackman "selfish" for not wanting to do the film. A new video from Jackman shows that he can have fun with Reynolds too.The video, a fake attack ad promoting Once Upon a Deadpool, starts with a voice-over from Jackman, warning people that -- while Reynolds may seem like an "honest, hardworking movie star, husband, and father" -- they shouldn't let the facts blind them to the truth. Following that, Jackman claims that Reynolds has been riding his coattails since 2009, after Jackman personally hand-selected him for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.RELATED: Rob Liefeld Tries to Tempt Hugh Jackman into Deadpool Vs. Wolverine Film

Afterwards, Jackman points out Reynolds was named People magazine's "Sexiest Man of the Year" in 2010, the year after he met Jackman, which he claims is hardly a coincidence. Before the video ends, Jackman tells everyone they can see Reynolds in Once Upon a Deadpool and support the Fudge Cancer charity, and to do it before Reynolds makes another Van Wilder film or -- worse yet -- Green Lantern.

Naturally, Jackman's video is meant in good fun, as he shows support for Reynolds by promoting the forthcoming Once Upon a Deadpool and the Fudge Cancer charity (previously Fuck Cancer, but changed for the 12-day release of the film). Though Jackman might not do a team-up film with Reynolds in the foreseeable future, it looks like the two can still have fun together behind the scenes.

Appearing in theaters from Dec. 12 to Dec. 24, Once Upon a Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beetz, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, Julian Dennison, Josh Brolin and Fred Savage.
