Huck to Pit Mark Twain Heroes Against Supernatural Threats

A film starring grown-up versions of Mark Twain characters Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn facing off against supernatural threats might sound like a follow-up to the kinda-sorta-adaptation of Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but that's not the case.

The above details are only rumors at this point, but the film was also compared to the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, which takes a darker look at the fairy tale. Now, let's see who raises more of an uproar, die-hard Twain fans not wanting to see their characters tampered with ... or Ninja Turtles fanatics.
