WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Season 3 finale of Killing Eve, "Are You Leading or Am I?"

Killing Eve's third season concludes on a stunning note with Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer) ready to turn new leaves and embrace a future together. They've had enough of the Twelve and after Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) advised Eve to quit "cold turkey," it seems that Villanelle wants to find happiness with her too.

However, with Carolyn not that convinced on Kenny's murder and knowing the Twelve is still out there manipulating several government agencies, especially MI6, there are a few interesting directions Season 4 could take.

MI6 REVAMPED

Carolyn's group project was shut down in lieu of the Rome fiasco in Season 2, but after she killed her boss, Paul, for being part of the Twelve, she could get her position back. Her boss, Diane, might be a problem but nonetheless, after Mo's death, Carolyn has just cause to reboot investigations, even bringing back old faces from Season 2.

Villanelle did say she'd be willing to work for MI6 and she has a valuable secret on the Twelve, so Carolyn could officially recruit her. To top it off, they will have to mop up Paul's mess as they don't know what secrets he leaked and how compromised the agency really is. What makes Villanelle's addition so much more appealing is she seems controllable now and Carolyn's perfect pawn.

THE KONSTANTIN COMPLEX

Carolyn let Konstantin go despite him meeting Kenny the day he died. He said he was trying to save the boy's life by getting him off the Twelve's case, only for Kenny to accidentally fall off the roof. That said, Carolyn could change her mind and send agents after him as he tries to scramble away to Cuba. She's finally showing an emotional streak and killing Konstantin could be what exorcises her demons of the past given their old love affair.

On top of that, the Twelve, after losing Paul, could hunt Konstantin too as he was revealed to be stealing their money. They would love to ensure he doesn't flip on them and spill secrets so viewers can see new hunters tailing him. Konstantin still has Irina to break out of a Russian prison too, so his Cuba trip might be indefinitely postponed as he dodges all these people who are after him. It was a running gag this season that everyone wants him dead, but it's no longer a joke anymore.

THE QUEEN BEE

In addition to losing Paul, one the main Keepers, Hélène, will be pissed she lost her successor to Villanelle in Rhian. The latter was thrown onto subway tracks and crushed thanks to Villanelle so we can see Hélène sending new dogs of war to kill Villanelle. This will also place Eve in great danger, so it should make for an action-packed season with Villanelle doing everything to protect the one person she truly loves.

Hélène herself has warned Villanelle she's an elite assassin as well, so we even might see a Keeper doing the dirty work they're not accustomed to doing in the field. She does have the mentality if you want something right, do it yourself, and Villanelle's a spoiled brat to her, so a battle of the ultimate femme fatales is set to pop off as Hélène has been relishing a one-on-one battle.

GERALDINE'S GAME

Before Carolyn killed Paul, she kicked Geraldine out her home. She's always had issues with her daughter, made even worse by Geraldine being seduced by Konstantin so he could spy on her mom. However, there's a chance Carolyn might ask her back home now that she has some closure over Kenny's death.

That said, Geraldine seems bitter towards her selfish mom and Season 4 could see her reuniting with Konstantin to keep him safe. They both have problems with Carolyn and are truly alone so as creepy as it is, they might find companionship or love with each other. They may even become Carolyn's enemies, using each other as pawns as they know the MI6 head has soft spots for them.

BITTER PILL'S PROMOTION

Bitter Pill's Jamie and Bear helped garner footage for Carolyn to see Kenny and Konstantin, and they also aided Eve's investigations multiple times. But their work isn't finished as they're still tracking the bank account Kenny was following. Fans were surprised just how valuable assets they were with their immense hacking skills tracking the Twelve and its agents.

This can see them become MI6's unofficial intel-gatherers, as it's most likely Eve will work there rather than at MI6. Carolyn needs independent allies who aren't corrupt, and these journalists are a perfect fit. There could be danger as Carolyn's partners, though, but at least with their awkward chemistry with Eve, it should be pretty comedic as they all become makeshift spies.

THE SHOCKING RETURNS

It's been confirmed change will be the theme for Season 4, which has three episodes already scripted. But that doesn't mean key faces can't return. Viewers didn't see Dasha die officially so she can come back to exact revenge on Eve and Villanelle, and she might even bring her mysterious son with her. Clues have been dropped she trained him as an assassin so that spices things up.

Villanelle's brothers could also enter the fray as she left them money in Russia after killing her mom, so that aspect of family that can reemerge to haunt her just when she thinks she's found stability. Lastly, Niko could return to shake Eve's world up as she tries to move forward with Villanelle. This show has taught viewers relationships are most vulnerable when people are happy, and after he was almost killed by Dasha, Niko might be pissed seeing Eve happy and may try to guilt-trip her for ruining his life.

Starring Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Harriet Walter, Danny Sapani, Gemma Whelan and Steve Pemberton, the third season of Killing Eve airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC and BBC America.
