Marvel, like all studios, goes to great lengths to keep the plot details of its films under wraps: confidentially agreements, takedown notices, scripts printed on red paper. But for Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron, executives are willing to take drastic measures.

Oscar nominee Don Cheadle nearly discovered that for himself -- the hard way -- during an appearance this week on Arsenio, where he was just about to reveal one of the sequel's secrets (something about "the Hawk character"). Luckily for the Iron Man franchise actor, host Arsenio Hall decided one movie scoop might not be worth the actor's life, and Marvel called off its goons.

Of course, maybe it wasn't Marvel behind the ominous threat at all, but rather co-star Jeremy Renner upset that Cheadle got his character's name wrong ...

Opening May 1, 2015, The Avengers: Age of Ultron also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.
