It goes without saying that a lot of you are seeing "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in the next week. Maybe you're seeing it right at 7 p.m. on Thursday, maybe you're going Friday night, maybe you're waiting until the weekend -- but "The Force Awakens" is poised to make a major impact on fans worldwide, bringing in plenty of box office along the way.

Of course, Star Wars is more than (very) big business. It's also hugely meaningful to a large number of people, something responsible for fond nostalgic memories and current pop cultural obsessions. So with the first new Star Wars movie in 10 years arriving this week, folks are excited to head to the theater -- we're hearing everything from people reuniting with friends after years apart to see it, to wedding plans tied to the release, to folks simply wanting to see it as early as possible to avoid spoilers (totally understandable).
