Amazon Prime members are about to get another perk with their subscriptions: early movie screenings.
Amazon and Sony Pictures have announced a special promotion exclusive to Prime members, with special early screenings of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation on June 30. They will be held at select movie theaters nationwide ahead of the animated sequel's wide release on July 13.
Hotel Transylvania 3 sees Count Dracula taking a much-needed vacation from running his monstrous Eastern European hotel. He embarks on a pleasure cruise with his family and friends only to discover the high-seas getaway is an elaborate trap set by a descendant of the famed vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing.
The animated franchise has been a commercial success, with 2015's Hotel Transylvania 2 seizing the record for highest-earning September opening weekend. With this new promotion, Prime members are going to get early access to the family-friendly Dracula's eagerly anticipated return.
Directed by returning filmmaker Genndy Tartakovsky, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation stars returning cast members Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, Fran Drescher, and Mel Brooks. It opens to the general public on July 13 in theaters everywhere.
