Following Hot Toys' release of the 1/6 scale Iron Man Mark LXXXV figure at the end of June to celebrate Avengers: Endgame's theatrical re-release, the company has now revealed its battle-damaged version of the character, highlighting Tony Stark's spent Nano Gauntlet in an iconic scene at the end of the film.
It's quite a doozy for collectors, as the figure fully honors the sacrifice made by Tony with an interchangeable head bearing his scars, not to mention his damaged armor and arc reactor. It truly reflects the state he was in at the movie's end, with an interchangeable arm also mirroring the snap that killed him and took out Thanos' army.
The 1/6 scale figure includes articulated flaps on the back, light-up LEDs scattered throughout the upper body, back and on the arc reactor. As mentioned, there's the 1/6 scale Nano Gauntlet, as seen in the movie, equipped with LED light-up function and matching interchangeable hands mounted with all six Infinity Stones, an energy blade, a special edition Holo Shield, a pair of claw blasters and an elaborate rock diorama dynamic figure stand to recreate the scene where he died.
The figure stands at a height of 32.5 centimeters and has 30 points of articulation. The estimated drop date is between third and fourth quarter 2021, with details on the price still to be revealed.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is set for release on Digital HD on July 30 and Blu-ray and 4K UHD on Aug. 13.
