Back in February, no one expected Marvel's Black Panther to become the global phenomenon that it would become. The movie lit the box-office on fire like few movies ever did, and Wakanda became one of the most popular fictional countries in the world. Almost overnight, fans everywhere were now familiar with the Black Panther mythos: they shouted "Wakanda Forever!," they understood the plight of Erik Killmonger, hailed the strength of T'Challa, and they fell in love with Letitia Wright's character, Shuri.
Now, Hot Toys collectors will finally be able to add a highly-detailed figure of Shuri to their ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe display. After the Hong Kong-based collectible manufacturer already announced figures for Black Panther, Erik Killmonger's Golden Jaguar and King T'Chaka, the company has now unveiled Shuri as the latest entry in the Wakanda collection.

The collectible, which features the character as she is seen in the final battle of Black Panther, comes with an impressive head sculpt made to look exactly like the actress. The figure measures 29 cm tall, and it features seven interchangeable hands, a detailed sash and costume, as well as a Kimoyo bracelet. Shuri can hold a Wakandan spear, or she can be armed with her Virbanium gauntlets, just like in the film. The gauntlets actually feature an LED light-up function to bring them to dynamic life.
The Shuri 1/6th scale Hot Toys figure is expected to release sometime between July and September 2019, with the retail price of $228 US. The figure is available for pre-order now.
On top of that, Hot Toys also unveiled its 1/6th scale replica of the Throne of Wakanda as seen in Ryan Coogler's film. The chair measure approximately 32.5 cm tall and 19 cm tall and features an impressive metallic paint. The figures of Black Panther, Killmonger, T'Chaka and Shuri can all be posed to sit on the chair, depending on which monarch you wish to see rule over Wakanda.
