A good co-worker is responsible, reliable, well-behaved, and takes the initiative, while a lousy co-worker will be the total opposite. In workplaces such as an office building, a restaurant, a school, or even a factory, these anime characters would be a real hassle to work with, and they would probably get reported to HR sooner than later.

Yukari Tanizaki is a high school teacher, and fans may soon be wondering how exactly she hasn't gotten fired yet. Yukari acts bratty and immature for her age, often teasing and mocking her students and fostering an unnecessary and juvenile rivalry with other classes. She is also an irresponsible driver.
Yukari can do her job, but only barely, and she is prone to complaining about practically anything, and she often cuts corners at work. She's also got a short temper and has stubborn pride on top of all that.
9 Princess Hibana Sees Everyone As "Gravel" (Fire Force)
Captain/Princess Hibana of company 5 would make a rather awkward co-worker for any anime character, and she would make a much worse boss. She has impressive flower-shaped ignition powers, but she prefers research over combat, and she can be a downright brutal scientist at times.
In addition, Princess Hibana is arrogant and vain, and she indeed acts like a spoiled princess most of the time, even calling her subordinates "gravel." She makes one exception: her crush, Shinra Kusakabe. Otherwise, she is a total drag to be around or work with.
8 Ayame Sohma Dials Everything To 11 (Fruits Basket)
Deep down, Ayame Sohma has a good heart, when it comes to his little brother Yuki Sohma, and he is also fond of Tohru Honda. Around most other people, though, Ayame is flamboyant and obnoxious, making a too-strong impression on them.
Ayame isn't cruel or malicious, but he would quickly irritate co-workers with his excessive vanity, antics, and goofy behavior. Only his assistant, Mine, can put up with him; anyone else would soon quit and find a different tailor shop for employment.
7 Azami Nakiri Would Be A Creepy Boss (Food Wars!)
Azami Nakiri is fiercely passionate about cuisine, but not in a good way. He arrogantly intends to transform the entire culinary world and enforce his own idea of perfect cuisine, trampling on every other chef's culinary style and preferences along the way. He's a vain bully.
No one would want to work with him or for him in any kitchen, even if Azami offers robust salaries and expensive cooking gear for potential employees. A chef needs more than just culinary skills; they need heart. Azami is nothing but pride.
6 Varrick Is Eccentric & Crafty, But Not Always For Good Reasons (The Legend Of Korra)
Later on, Varrick showed his good side by revolting against the warmongering Kuvira and helping Team Avatar defend Republic City, but that was a last-minute change. For the bulk of his career, Varrick was a self-centered schemer, and he even stoked the Water Tribe civil war for the sake of war profiteering.
Only total villains would work with or for such a person, and anyone would soon grow weary of Varrick's eccentric, bizarre behavior and unrealistic demands. Just one person can keep up with him: Zhu Li, his beloved assistant.
5 Yachiru Kusajishi Always Acts Her Age (Bleach)
It would be exciting to become a Soul Reaper, a sword-wielding guardian of the dead who fights Hollows for a living. But not all Soul Reaper officers would make for pleasant co-workers. Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi of squad 11, for example, would be a real headache to work with.
Despite her lofty rank, Yachiru is just a kid, and she spends far more time goofing off and pestering everyone than getting any real work done. Anyone who intends to focus on their job and act dignified should find pretty much anyone else to work with. Not even Captain Kenpachi Zaraki can handle Yachiru.
4 Valac Clara Would Annoy Everyone At A Part-Time Job (Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-Kun!)
Valac Clara is an energetic and playful adolescent who attends the Babyls school, and while she means well, Clara comes off way too strongly to most people, and she struggles to make friends. If she got a part-time job somewhere, this issue would be amplified.
Clara would infuriate her co-workers and managers at any job, no matter what her role is, and she would either get fired or drive everyone else to quit just to get away from her. Clara does have a useful item-creation ability with her pockets, but that doesn't make up for her tiresome behavior. Even for an adolescent, she acts incredibly juvenile.
3 Satoru Gojo Is Flay & Teases People (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Satoru Gojo is a vastly powerful sorcerer, but he would be a tiresome employee to work with in any other context, such as in an office building or even an ordinary shop. He is known for running off and doing his own thing due to his impulsive nature, and he rarely apologizes for it.
That would definitely grate on any co-worker or boss of his, and Satoru is also prone to goofing off and not taking things seriously until a curse appears. In an ordinary work setting, Satoru Gojo would definitely get yelled at by his managers.
2 Yu Ishigami Is Grouchy & Unmotivated (Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War)
At an ordinary part-time job, Yu Ishigami would be a lousy employee not because he is obnoxious or flaky but simply because he is so unmotivated and moody all the time, even for a teenager. Yu often annoys Miko Iino with his laziness and fondness for games, and this problem would repeat itself at the workplace.
Yu has low self-esteem and almost no ambition, and his bosses would be greatly unimpressed by his attitude and work ethic, not to mention all his depressing comments and remarks on everything. This issue would be even worse if Yu worked with customers.
1 Ram Has Few Marketable Skills & A Bad Attitude (Re:Zero)
Despite being a maid, the petite Ram is a terrible employee, though at least she is committed to her job, and she has appreciable combat skills. The problem is that Ram is more used to fighting, and she needs her little sister Rem to help get all the chores done correctly at Roswaal's manor.
On her own, Ram would make for a poor employee or co-worker, especially since she has a bad attitude and is quick to verbally snipe at people who annoy her. She would annoy her co-workers and slow down the workplace with her lack of skills, and she might get fired soon after that.
