Initially announced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, the acclaimed open-world game Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC. Now, Guerrilla Games has unleashed a new trailer for the game to hype its release next month.

The trailer shows Aloy and her people under attack in a post-apocalyptic vision of the 31st century's United States. Additionally, it showcases the title's immersive gameplay, as Aloy navigates the harsh landscape, which is populated by monsters and rival factions.

First released in February 2017, the game was acclaimed for its emphasis on exploration, third-person combat and gripping performances by leads Ashly Burch and Lance Reddick. Critics similarly lauded the Focus feature, which applied to hunting in the game's combat system.

A sequel titled Horizon: Forbidden West was officially announced last month. It will follow Aloy as she moves to the former West Coast of the United States and encounters new threats. The title has been announced as exclusive for the PlayStation 5 and is expected to be released along with the upcoming video game console's launch this holiday season.

Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon: Zero Dawn will be released for PC on August 7. The game is currently available on the PlayStation 4.
