Homeland Trailer Arrives: 'I'll Be Watching You'

Showtime has released a terrific new trailer for the second season of its Emmy-nominated thriller Homeland, made almost haunting by the use of the Scala & Kolacny Brothers cover of "I'll Be Watching You."

Based on the Israeli television series Prisoners of War, the drama stars Claire Danes as a brilliant CIA agent grappling with bipolar disorder who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of U.S solider Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) was a setup and may be connected to an al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. With Season 2, which begins Sept. 30, Carrie is no longer with the Agency, and struggles to put the pieces back together. But her fragile new life is disrupted with her former colleagues Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) and David Estes (David Harewood) come asking for help.

Homeland returns Sunday, Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
