The Hollywood Walk of Fame has officially announced its Class of 2022, with the late Carrie Fisher -- best known for her role as Leia Organa in the Star Wars franchise -- set to receive a star on the iconic Los Angeles landmark.

Fisher is one of many individuals set to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star for their achievements in the world of film, with the Class of 2022 also including the likes of fellow Star Wars icon Ewan McGregor, as well as Home Alone's Macaulay Culkin, Spider-Man's Willem Dafoe, Frida's Salma Hayek, Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan, Boyz n the Hood's Regina King, Goodfellas' Ray Liotta, Aquaman's Jason Momoa, Thor: Ragnarok's Tessa Thompson and Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola.

The television category has a fairly stacked lineup as well, including another Star Wars actor in The Mandalorian's Ming-Na Wen. Wen is joined by likes of Breaking Bad alum and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk, 21 Jump Street alum Holly Robinson-Peete, The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, Watchmen and Legion alum Jean Smart, All That alum Kenan Thompson and Arrowverse and Riverdale producer Greg Berlanti.

At the time of writing, dates for the star ceremonies for those listed above have not been set. Per the Hollywood Walk of Fame's official release, "Recipients have two years to schedule star ceremonies from the date of selection before they expire. Upcoming star ceremonies are usually announced ten days prior to dedication on the official website."
