Images and videos from the set of Disney+'s Hocus Pocus 2 have surfaced.One image released by People sees Sarah Jessica Parker's Sarah Sanderson in her classic purple dress. Additional materials feature Bette Midler's Winifred and Kathy Najimy's Mary walking to their vehicles as crew members try to shield them from the paparazzi, along with another look at Parker.
Additionally, Disney+ released an official photo of all three sister as part of its Disney+ Day 2022 celebration.
Released in 1993, Hocus Pocus centers on a trio of kids who attempt to thwart three witches -- the Sanderson sisters -- in their plot to suck the life essence from the children of Salem when they're resurrected 300 years after their execution. Though it wasn't a critical or financial success, the film developed a cult following in the years since its release, and the sequel was officially announced in May 2021 for Disney+.
"As heartbroken as I am that I won’t be able to direct my friends Bette, Sarah Jessica and Kathy in what is sure to be nothing short of a major event for Disney+ due to scheduling conflicts, I couldn’t be more pleased to be handing over the reins to Anne [Fletcher], who has brought so much laughter and joy into people’s lives with her previous work," executive producer and original Hocus Pocus director Adam Shankman said at the time. "I am still grateful and proud to help shepherd this ingenious project as executive producer alongside producer Lynn Harris, whom I have loved and admired as a colleague and friend since she helped get me the job choreographing Boogie Nights."

Hocus Pocus 2 features returning cast members Bette Midler (Winifred Sanderson), Sarah Jessica Parker (Sarah Sanderson), Kathy Najimy (Mary Sanderson) and Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson), as well as newcomers Whitney Peak (Becca), Lilia Buckingham (Cassie), Belissa Escobedo (Izzy), with Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez Taylor Paige Henderson and Nina Kitchen.
Hocus Pocus 2 premieres in fall 2022 on Disney+.
