Additionally, producer Hiram Garcia, who previously worked with Johnson as a producer on Fast 7 and Rampage, announced that Johnson's next project will be the currently untitled sequel to 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

The upcoming spinoff film reportedly features Johnson's Luke Hobbs and Statham's Deckard Shaw entering an unlikely team-up to face a new threat in Idris Elba's character, Brixton, in a mission that takes the duo to London. The new film will also introduce Deckard and Owen Shaw's little sister, Hattie, as well as Hobbs' little brother, portrayed by WWE professional wrestler Roman Reigns in his film debut.
