While main filming on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw may concluded weeks ago, star and producer Dwayne Johnson has announced the last bit of principal photography wrapped over the weekend.

In posts through his Instagram account from the film's set on Samoa,  Johnson thanked the cast and crew for their involvement over the past several months on the upcoming Fast & Furious spinoff which the actor declares "more than a movie" for him personally and an opportunity to show Samoan culture to the world.

Main unit filming had concluded at the end of last month after beginning five months ago in London. In a separate Instagram post, Johnson took the time to thank co-star Jason Statham while referring to the film as "the most challenging" production he has been on to date.

As for Johnson, the actor is right back to work after announcing earlier this week that production had begun on the sequel to 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a script by longtime Fast & Furiousnarrative architect Chris Morgan, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shawstars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby. The film arrives on August 2.
