After recently showing him and Jason Statham staring each other down, Dwayne Johnson has offered another photo of the upcoming action film Hobbs and Shaw, this one focused on Idris Elba’s character Brixton.

“Heroes are only as great as their villains,” Johnson wrote in an Instagram post. “We brought Idris in to wreak havoc, hell, and mayhem on our heroes.” Johnson also promises Brixton’s record is “UNDEFEATED,” and will lead to the “showdown of all showdowns.”

Hobbs and Shaw marks the first spinoff of Universal’s long-running Fast & Furious franchise. Johnson’s Luke Hobbs previously appeared in Fast Five and the sequels, while Statham’s Deckard Shaw arrived in Furious 7. Both characters were antagonists their respective movies — Shaw is notorious for being the one who killed Han in Tokyo Drift — and have since become allies to Dom Toretto and his team. Last year’s Fate of the Furious was intended to be a testing ground for their eventual team-up film. It’s not the only Furious spinoff being made, though, as Vin Diesel has also recently hinted there’s a woman-focused Furious film in the works as well.

Hobbs and Shaw will release August 2, 2019.
