For decades, Marvel comics have been telling wildly creative stories. Marvel stories are not afraid to go to truly imaginative places full of unique characters. With an ever-expanding universe, characters and stories have been taken to some unforgettable places.  The multiverse was established early on in Marvel's history, and ever since that introduction the universe has continued to expand into new realms and dimensions.

Whether it is through Ant-Man shrinking into the Microverse or Doctor Strange exploring unseen dimensions with his unique abilities, readers can never know which universe the story is headed to. Many of the newly explored dimensions and universes are incredible, but sometimes these dimensions are so wild that they become absolutely hilarious. These are the 10 most hilarious dimensions that Marvel comics have explored.

10 The Punch Dimension

There are multiple characters within the Marvel universe that draw their powers from another dimension. Using an entire dimension to explain an ability can give that power some ridiculous strength. One of the rather unlikely heroes to access another dimension is none other than the beloved Cyclops. The punch dimension is an entire dimension made of pure energy. Cyclops has the ability to channel this dimension's power through his eyes into concussive blasts. Why an entire dimension was created just to explain a superpower will remain a mystery, but the pure ridiculous scale of this ability is definitely one of the weirder places that Marvel comics have gone.

9 Marvel Noir

Also known as Earth-90214, this particular alternate universe tells stories of popular heroes set in the 1920s and 1930s. Typically, the stories set on this version of Earth are much more moody, taking on darker themes. Spider-Man was raised by his aunt and uncle during the great depression and grows up to be an investigative reporter.

This version of Peter Parker is much grimmer, he dresses in all black and even uses guns to stop his enemies. This alternate universe is so weird that it is without a doubt one of the more entertaining worlds explored within the comics.

8 Pocket Universe

Pocket Universe

In the Marvel universe, there are a few characters with unbelievably powerful abilities. One of those characters is none other than Franklin Richards. As the son of Reed Richards and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four, Franklin was born as a mutant with a wide variety of powers. As the boy grew, his powers seemed to be limitless, and he became known as one of the most powerful mutants in the entire Marvel universe. During one storyline, Franklin Richards messes with time, space, and reality to create an entire universe small enough that he can keep in his own pocket. He has the ability to create and sustain entire worlds in his own pocket, with people living on planets unknowingly inside a super mutant's pocket.

7 The Microverse

The Mircoverse in Marvel Comics

The Microverse is most commonly associated with the adventures that Ant-Man has had traveling within the miniature world. While the Pym particles are what allows the Microverse to be accessible, the microscopic world has a much weirder origin story. A time traveler named Prince Wayfinder set out to create the world to save his race. Living on an alien world thousands of years in the future, Wayfinder's people were attacked and his home was destroyed in the battle.

Wayfinder escaped the destruction and discovered a powerful tool that would allow him to create a microscopic world to hide and save what was left of his people. As a result, he traveled back in time to Earth and created what is now known as the Microverse.

6 Land Of Couldn't-Be Shouldn't-Be

When two cosmic level entities form a romantic relationship, their powers combined can create some truly weird and unique worlds. The entity known as Eternity formed a relationship with the Queen of Nevers, and the two of them created an entire realm known as the Land of Couldn't-Be Shouldn't-Be. This place was described as the time without space and space without time. It was a vast nothingness where the two entities could be together, free from the rest of the universe. Later on in one storyline, Deadpool and Thanos must team up in order to rescue Mistress Death from captivity, where she was being imprisoned within this very strange world of nothing.

5 Weirdworld

This strange and fantastical world exists within the Marvel universe in an unknown dimension. Filled with dragons, elves, dwarves, and gnomes, Weirdworld is a land full of magic and adventure. Gods of darkness and lightness battle each other in a never-ending game simply to pass the time in this strange land. Complete with were-men, zombies, and goblins, this fantasy land is full of strange and humorous creatures.

The land is ancient, made of cosmic debris from a fallen god that had been banished from his homeland. The strange world was introduced into the rest of the Marvel universe recently when the land had a part to play in the major Secret Wars event a few years ago.

4 Marvel 1602

Also known as Earth-311, this alternate universe tells stories of the most beloved characters living in the 1600s. Count Otto Von Doom ruled Latveria with plans to rule the world. As Doom expands his power, the heroes of this world must band together to stop him. All of the heroes of this world have a slight variation to their modern counterparts. For example, Carlos Javier is the counterpart to Charles Xavier. Mutants in this timeline are referred to as Witchbreeds and are hunted down. Traveling as a blind balladeer during the day, Matthew Murdoch becomes the man without fear, an adventurer for hire to anyone who will pay the right price.

3 Gutter Space

The Gutter Space is a truly abstract idea that allows for fun and hilarious storytelling. This dimension exists as the white space between panels in comic books. While Gwenpool was not the first character to access this dimension, she was the first to make this a hilarious and fun tool in her stories.

Within the pages, Gwenpool uses the Gutter Space to see the information that her character shouldn't have access to, like conversations between other characters. The Gutter Space allows characters to bring items from their past to the present, and also to travel great distances by simply switching to a different panel.

2 Earth 2301

Also known as the Marvel Mangaverse, this alternate universe is ruled by the powerful Mephisto, as the heroes band together to fight this powerful cosmic entity. Featuring Manga-style artwork, this universe features cosmic clashes between characters, over the top battles, and giant world-shattering abilities. Galactus rises to fight Mephisto by consuming the life force of whole planets. The X-Men team up to fight an electromagnetic demon named Magnus, Annihilus travels through dimensions to battle the Fantastic Four, and many other fights become larger than life in this epic universe. With space-traveling demons, planet-killing monsters, and nonstop action, this strange world is full to the brim with fun.

1 Larval Earth

Earth 8311 is definitely the strangest and most humorous world in the Marvel universe. Full of anthropomorphic animals, this world full of heroes has endless wacky adventures and parodies of their popular counterparts. Most notably, this land is home to the famous Spider-Ham. With heroes like Captain Americat and Iron Mouse, this universe parodies the most popular adventurers. The goofy animals team up to fight equally funny villains like Ducktor Doom and Kingpig. There is even the organization S.H.E.E.P, which is a direct parody of the famous S.H.I.E.L.D. The comical world is full of never-ending wacky adventures, making it Marvel's weirdest and most hilarious alternate universe.
