Earlier this week, concept art from James Wan's upcoming Aquaman film gave us the first look at the hero's brother and arch-nemesis Orm in his comics-accurate Ocean Master helmet.
Then, today, a photo of Sideshow Collectibles' statue of Jason Momoa's Aquaman wearing a comics-accurate costume surfaced from the floor of Comic-Con International in San Diego. Now, DC Collectibles has seen Sideshow's reveal and added one of its own, debuting a trio of hi-res images depicting Momoa in the familiar gold and green, Amber Heard's Mera and the first clean look at Abdul-Mateen II's full Black Manta costume.

Though Mera's statue offers little in the way of new details regarding the character's big screen appearance, those who were at all concerned Aquaman wouldn't appear in his traditional outfit should feel somewhat relieved by today's revelation. But perhaps most impressive is Black Manta's gear, which indicates perhaps one of the most faithful adaptations of a comic book villain to the big screen to date -- no mean feat considering how easily that iconic helmet could have gone wrong in translation.
Each DC Collectibles Aquaman statue comes in at 12" high and will arrive in stores November 2018.
Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus. The film is scheduled to make a big splash in theaters December 21.
