WARNING: The following contains spoilers for He's All That, now streaming on Netflix.

Netflix's He's All That focuses on Cam (Tanner Buchanan), an awkward yet rebellious Los Angeles high-school photographer who takes over as the lead of the gender-swapped remake of the 1999 rom-com classic, She's All That. He's secretly being made over by Instagram influencer, Padgett (Addison Rae), not realizing he's part of a bet, just like how Laney (Rachel Leigh Cook) was in the original. However, while most of Netflix's remake flops, focusing more on social media than actual substance, it's almost redeemed by the Prince Charming ending.

As is par the course with these kinds of movies, Padgett begins to fall for Cam, realizing he's much more of a sweetheart than she realized. But just as she begins to rethink her cosmetic ways, the friend she made the bet with, Alden, spills the beans about the makeover. Alden wanted to ruin Padgett and Cam's shot at the Homecoming crowns, hoping she and Padgett's ex, Jordan, could take the titles instead.

This results in Cam cutting ties with Padgett, who attends the dance alone. She has no interest in dancing with Jordan after winning, however, instead giving an acceptance speech on loving oneself and forgetting the superficial aspects of being a teen. Cam didn't show up, though, despite being pushed by people in his inner circle who've forgiven Padgett. He remains at the stable where he gave Padge some lessons in the past, but thankfully, his sister, Brin, convinces him to give the girl a second chance.

He then rides over to the dance on their favorite horse, and in a sweet moment, he dismounts and asks for a dance. Cam confesses he was too headstrong and should have listened, especially because the horse doesn't trust just anyone to ride it, which means there's something special about Padge. Cam and Page dance for viewers to see before the film cuts to the credits, where they tour Europe together and vlog as a happy couple. But outside of the newly formed relationship, what really makes this ending is Brin egging her brother on. Her push wasn't just about love for a girl, but also for their mom, who passed in a plane crash years before.

Cam became a father figure to his bratty sis too early in his life after their dad abandoned them to work internationally, and she recognized this took a spark from him. So, in a tearful display, Brie tells Cam she wants him to stop holding on and to enjoy life again, which is what Padge brought to the table. Brin just wants to see her brother smile, and because photography as a passion wasn't doing the trick alone, she helped drive Cam and the horse down the freeway before he could take off. Sure, it was about uniting the lovers, but Cam being happy helps heal the family while also adding a tone of endearment to a predictable reunion.

To see Cam and Padge end up together in He's All That, the film is streaming now onn Netflix.
