The digital prequel to NBC's "Heroes Reborn" is now available on the new Heroes Reborn app.

Titled "Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters," the six-episode series is set five years after the finale of "Heroes," when  the public became aware of the existence as evolved humans, also known as "EVOs." In that time, EVOs have grown both feared and revered, with an online community forming around the rallying cry of the anonymous Hero_Truther, who seeks to counter all the lies and fearmongering and humanize those with extraordinary abilities.

Among those posting their personal stories is Phoebe Frady (Aislinn Paul), who's encouraged by her brother Quentin (Henry Zebrowski) to document her origin story. But as Phoebe struggles to control her power, she attracts unwanted attention from a mysterious new company.

You can watch the first episode of "Dark Matters" below, and download the app from the App Store or Google Play to see the rest.

The 13-episode "Heroes Reborn" premieres Sept. 24 on NBC.
