Sendhil Ramamurthy will reprise his "Heroes" role as geneticist Mohinder Suresh in NBC's 13-episode revival of the superpowers drama.

According to Deadline, the actor has also signed on to "Lucky Man," the upcoming British crime drama from Stan Lee and "Downton Abbey" producer Carnival Films.

In "Heroes Reborn," Ramamurthy joins fellow returning cast members Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Greg Grunberg and Jimmy Jean-Louis, and newcomers Zachary Levi, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Henry Zebrowski, Gatlin Green, Dylan Bruce and Nazneen Contractor.

In the 10-episode "Lucky Man," he'll play Governor Julian of Brixton Hill Prison, appearing opposite star James Nesbitt as a London homicide detective who's given a charm that enables him to make his own luck, at a cost. The miniseries will air next year on Sky1.

Since the end of "Heroes" in 2010, Ramamurthy has had recurring roles on such television series as "Covert Affairs," "CSI: Miami," "The Office" and "Beauty & the Beast."

“Heroes Reborn” will air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
