When you think about it, it makes perfect sense that Predators have probably been coming to planet Earth for centuries. Certainly the pyramid from "Aliens vs Predator" is proof of that. So it's really about time someone made a Predator movie that placed the characters in something other than a modern era. Enter "Predator: Dark Ages," a Kickstarter-funded fan film that pits one of interstellar killers against a group of Templar Knights during the Crusades.

Written and directed by James Bushe, the 27-minute film does a very admirable job of setting up hunter-hunted situation akin to that of the original "Predator" movie, except replacing commandos with sword-wielding knights. And yes, there's even a sword fight scene.

The official synopsis reads, "Set during the Crusades, the faith & fighting skills of a group of Templar Knights is put to the test when they encounter the Predator. Their battle is the thing Myths and Legends are born from." Check it out below:
