The accolades for director Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman are still rolling in, and Superman himself Henry Cavill has now joined in the praise, taking to Instagram to congratulate the film's cast and crew. Using an old Comic-Con International picture, he lauded Gal Gadot, her co-star Chris Pine (who plays love interest Steve Trevor) and Jenkins for the movie's success thus far.

"Congratulations to my DC family members Gal, Patty, Chris, and the whole Wonder Woman team for an incredibly successful weekend!! You guys nailed it," he captioned the photo.

Cavill posted his message the same day that Justice League reshoots were announced. Avengers director Joss Whedon will helm these reshoots, taking over the movie after Zack Synder departed the project for personal reasons. Cavill also teased Superman's return with a photo of himself suited up for the reshoots, leaving fans even more eager to find out how his character returns following his death at the hands of Doomsday in last year's Batman vs. Superman.
