As revealed by its new title, both war and winter are coming for "The Huntsman." The prequel to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman" is now known as "The Huntsman: Winter's War," a title that includes a nod to the new cast members joining the young franchise. Those new players stand alongside returning stars Chris Hemsworth as Huntsman Eric and Charlize Theron as evil Queen Ravenna in four new character posters. Joining Hemsworth and Theron are Jessica Chastain as the warrior Sara and Emily Blunt as Freya, the Ice Queen.

Blunt plays Ravenna's sister Freya, a queen with the power to create ice. According to the film's synopsis, Freya secluded herself in a remote palace and amassed an army of huntsmen, which include Eric and Sara among their number. Eric and Sara break Freya's first rule when they fail to harden their hearts to love.

Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and also starring Colin Morgan, Sam Claflin and Nick Frost, "The Huntsman: Winter's War" opens on April 22, 2016.
