Avengers: Endgame found the God of Thunder wallowing in his own failure. After he couldn't save Asgard nor stop Thanos, Thor retreated to New Asgard, where he retired from the heroic life to live with Korg and Miek. Following a five-year time jump, he lost his edge and gained weight as he struggled to come to terms with his shortcomings.

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth tapped into that energy in a behind-the-scenes video that shows him in costume, strumming a guitar and singing "Hurt" by Johnny Cash. He debuted the clip on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the video below, starting at the 1:44-minute mark:

"It's the saddest song in the world," Hemsworth told Fallon. With a chuckle, he added, "I'm a terrible singer and a terrible guitarist."
