In a new clip from the Hellboy reboot, Big Red confronts Milla Jovovich's Nimue, only for the evil witch to make him a devilish offer.

In a new clip from Neil Marshall's Hellboy reboot, Big Red finds himself faced with an offer of love and power with apocalyptic stakes.

The scene finds the eponymous demon attempting to stop Nimue, the Blood Queen, only to be incapacitated by the witch and tempted with an opportunity to rule at her side if he joins her in unleashing hell on Earth.

"Why do you fight for those who hate and fear you? All I wanted was revenge until I saw you," Nimue admits to David Harbour's character. "You can usher in the apocalypse. Out of the ashes, a new Eden will emerge. Leave these frail, pathetic human behind. Be my king, be revered for who you really are."

With clips from the film's other promotional materials showing Hellboy wielding a flaming sword, with his horns fully grown and a crown of fire above his head, the hero's hellish destiny may yet be fulfilled.

Arriving April 12, director Neil Marshall’s Hellboy stars David Harbour as Hellboy, Ian McShane as Trevor Bruttenholm, Milla Jovovich as Nimue, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida and Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio.
