Director Guillermo del Toro made an announcement on his website which revealed the complete cast for the sequel, which begins shooting this Friday in Budapest. Del Toro wrote: "John Hurt is back for a cameo. Myers is not back (see Rupie in 'KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN' in the London stage!!). Universal has NOT authorized a brief Kroenen cameo/ epilogue-yet. Johann will be played by John Alexander (body) and Thomas Kretschmann (voice). Dougie [Doug Jones] will play 4 characters. Brian Steele will play 4 characters. Anna Walton is the actress playing Princess Nuala. Luke Goss plays Prince Nuada. Silverlance. [sic] Roy Dotrice plays King Balor."

ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 2

Actor Steven Pasquale talked to MTV about what's different for the sequel. "[We're] trying to get back to the basics [with] the suspense and the gore," Pasquale said. "I think it's going to be really fun. [Directors] Colin and Greg Strause really know what they're doing in terms of a sort of true-blue monster movie."

FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER

Screenwriter Don Payne wants to spin off Norrin Radd, or so he told IF Magazine. "For sure the door is opened for a 'SILVER SURFER' spin-off and I think for sure the franchise leads to a third film. And yes I would love to write another 'FANTASTIC 4' film ... The film touches a little bit about his back-story but it could totally be explored in his own spin off. The Fantastic 4 are trying to figure out who he is and what he does on our planet."
