Set in a small community in Georgia, the series follows a family-owned wrestling promotion. The focus of the drama will be two brothers (Amell and Viking's Alexander Ludwig) as they clash over their father's legacy. While the two may share the business, they're enemies in the ring, with Amell's Ace playing the hero and Ludwig's Jack portraying the villain (or heel). The series also stars Alison Luff, Chris Bauer, Allen Maldonado and James Harrison.

Heels received an eight-episode order from Starz back in August 2019. No release date has been announced.

Heels is about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals war over their late father’s legacy. In the ring, somebody must play the good guy and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel. But in the real world, those characters can be hard to live up to -- or hard to leave behind.

Written by Loki showrunner Michael Waldron, Heels stars Stephen Amell, Alison Luff, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Bauer, Allen Maldonado and James Harrison. The eight-episode series will air on STARZ, although no release date has been announced.
