You know that list you have for reasons to become best friends with "Arrow" star Stephen Amell? You're going to want to grab it and add another entry.

The Green Arrow/True Canadian Hero had a rough weekend. After rooting for Syracuse's football team  only to be dealt defeat  by NC State, Amell posted that a fan greeted him in a decidedly unconventional way; to be more specific, the fan head-butted the actor.

"Dude came up to me yesterday," Amell wrote on Facebook. "Head Butts me hard. Outta nowhere... Then says -- 'I want to fight the Green Arrow."

What did Amell do? Take after alter- ego Ollie and make use of all of those archery classes? Not quite.

"[I] paused, looked at him... shook his hand and said no thank you. Because I'm a father and a husband. Pretty manly if you ask me."

The actor also posted a picture of his slightly scuffed face, proving that in these tumultuous times he is both the hero we deserve and need.

If that wasn't enough heroic work for one day, the actor is also doing his annual campaign for the charity F*ck Cancer when he isn't donning his emerald suit for the fifth season of "Arrow" on the CW.

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, "Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, Willa Holland and more.
