He-Man fans will get the chance to channel to the power of Grayskull this summer with these awesome, life-sized weapon replicas from the Masters of the Universe.
The collectibles will be available online, according to Factory Entertainment, which has partnered with Mattel to produce them. There will be 1:1 prop replicas, scaled prop replicas and collectible metal miniatures. Factory Entertainment is working with KUZOS to produce the miniatures.
In addition to the Power Sword, other weapons that will be sold include He-Man's Battle Axe and Skeletor's Havoc Staff. The MOTU villain's Power Sword is also going be available.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Mattel to create new Masters of the Universe collectibles," said Jordan Schwartz, president and CEO of Factory Entertainment, in a statement. Product developer Tom Vargas added, "I personally cannot wait to raise a Power Sword replica above my head and shout the iconic line, 'By the power of Grayskull!'"
Factory Entertainment describes itself as "a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality licensed toys, collectibles and home goods." The company has created a slew of items based off movie properties and pop culture figures, including Harry Potter, James Bond, Aquaman, The Beatles, Friday the 13th and many more.
A new MOTU series, based off the '80s cartoon, is slated to hit Netflix later this year. It will be produced by Mattel Television and helmed by Kevin Smith.
