Fans of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra: Princess of Power will have a great way to pass the time while waiting out the COVID-19 pandemic. The official He-Man YouTube channel has posted full free episodes of He-Man and She-Ra to its home page.
The channel includes both seasons of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, both seasons of She-Ra: Princess of Power, the entire first season of The New Adventures of He-Man, and the animated film He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of The Sword. The Secret of The Sword was essentially the first five episodes of She-Ra edited together, though it premiered before the series proper.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which first aired in 1983, focuses on Prince Adam of the realm Eternia, who uses the Sword of Power to transform into the mighty He-Man. Alongside his allies, the Masters of the Universe, He-Man battles the sinister Skeletor, who is hellbent on unlocking the secrets of Castle Greyskull so that he may rule the universe. She-Ra focuses on Adora, Adam's twin sister, who uses the Sword of Protection in order to become She-Ra. She-Ra leads a rebellion to battle the tyrant Hordak and stop him from conquering Etheria.
The He-Man and She-Ra franchises have found a new life on Netflix; She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will release its fifth and final season this May, and a sequel series to He-Man, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, will premiere in 2021. A CG animated reboot is also in development.
