Although it's set to premiere this fall, very little is known about HBO's upcoming Watchmen series. This includes details about Regina King's Angela Abraham, who's been quite literally cloaked in mystery since the first image of her surfaced. However, a new series of teasers attempt to shine some light on the hooded figure.

The first teaser sees Abraham turn toward the camera to reveal her heavily masked face. The second sees her suiting up and attaching a Tulsa Police badge to her belt. The third features her hanging a pair of Rosary beads from the opposite side of her waist.

According to a casting breakdown that surfaced last year, Abraham is an "African-American female cop. Independent and intelligent, she’s also a realist. She’s married to Cal, with whom she has a daughter and is fiercely protective of them both." From everything we've seen of the character so far, "fiercely protective" seems to be an accurate description.

Developed by Damon Lindelof, HBO's Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, James Wolk, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith and Adelynn Spoon. The series will premiere in the fall of 2019.
