HBO Sets 'True Blood,' 'Leftovers' Premiere Dates

With the island behind him, Damon Lindelof is turning his attention to the heavens with his all-new HBO series, The Leftovers.

Based on co-creator and author Tom Perrotta's novel of the same name, The Leftovers tells the story of life on Earth after the Rapture — that is, if the Rapture happened at all. HBO has set a premiere date for the show's first 10-episode season: June 15, right after the Season 4 finale of Game of Thrones.

One week after The Leftovers debuts, on June 22, HBO will begin the final season of True Blood. It's about time that vampire show died the true death.
