HBO has released two deleted scenes from the fourth season of Game of Thrones, showing some of the hit drama's notoriously tough characters in their quieter moments.

In the first clip, which was cut from "The Lion and the Rose," Bronn (Jerome Flynn) attempts to reassure Shae (Sibel Kekilli) after Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) dismisses her, albeit for her own protection.

The second clip features Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), after Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) betrays her. Although continuously regal, Daenerys reveals her hurt and vulnerability to Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) in "The Mountain and the Viper."

Both clips are included on the Blu-ray and DVD release of Season 4, which arrived in stores Tuesday. The fifth season of Game of Thrones premieres April 12 on HBO.
