Zack Snyder's version of Justice League is finally a reality and is preparing for a 2021 launch on HBO Max. Now, a new post from WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar has shed some light on when exactly fans can expect it to debut.

"And on the subject of HBO Max, there are so many amazing HBO original series and Max originals I’m excited about," Kilar said in a WarnerMedia post. "The Tiger Woods HBO documentary arriving in January is incredible. And this little thing called Zack Snyder’s Justice League coming in a few months as well."

Kilar didn't offer any further specifics on when Zack Snyder's Justice League would premiere. However, the timeframe he offers aligns with previous reports suggesting it would launch in early-to-mid 2021.

The release of Snyder's version of Justice League ended the two-and-a-half-year movement that began when the film first premiered in theaters following reports that his version was heavily altered by Warner Bros. and new director Joss Whedon. Many blame those two parties for the film's subpar critical reception and argue that Snyder's product is far superior and fits more coherently with his previous two films in the DC Extended Universe canon, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
