The interface for HBO Max has leaked a day before its launch.
Thanks to a series of tweets from user HBOMaxSource, the visual layout for both the television and mobile versions of HBO Max app have leaked early. As seen in the trio of tweets below, the interface features, among other assets, collections of similar films and television episodes put under labels like "I'll Have What She's Having".
These tweets also revealed that HBO Max will have individual sections dedicated to specific brands such as Studio Ghibli, Max Originals and DC properties. This design choice evokes how the Disney+ homepage features links to pages dedicated to brands like Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. Also revealed is how the HBO Max app will appear in a mobile format, as well as how HBO Max will feature film and television recommendations from celebrities like Zac Efron and Bill Hader.
HBO Max is a new streaming service offering original content, including new DC television projects such as Green Lantern, Justice League Dark, Strange Adventures, Aquaman: King of Atlantis and DC Super Hero High. Other HBO Max originals include the adult animated series Close Enough, the second season of Rooster Teeth's gen:LOCK and the DC Universe co-production Doom Patrol, along with specials, reboots, revivals and reunions of existing shows like Adventure Time, Looney Tunes, The Boondocks and Friends.
HBO Max launches on May 27.
