As the streaming wars continue to heat up, WarnerMedia is pulling out all the stops for its upcoming digital platform HBO Max, showcasing the premium streaming service's extensive library.

In a new promo, the platform reveals numerous fan-favorite films and television series that will be available to subscribers, including Friends, South Park, Joker and Game of Thrones, all expected to be available on the service upon its launch in May.

In addition to its vast catalogue of popular programming and cross-platform programming accessibility with fellow WarnerMedia services -- such as HBO Now and DC Universe -- the streaming platform is also planning to build its own library of original content. Earlier this month, WarnerMedia opened a new film division specifically to create original content for HBO Max, with plans to produce eight to ten films a year for the platform.

HBO Max is the first major streaming competitor to launch in the wake of Disney+'s debut this past November. With more and more viewers streaming content rather than watching traditional television broadcasts, the year will prove interesting as major entertainment companies each launch their own efforts to capture the growing digital market.
