WarnerMedia is seeing massive changes across the company and one of the larger effects can be seen on HBO Max, which is set to lose a huge number of titles soon.

As reported by Variety, HBO Max is set to lose 36 titles from the streaming service's catalogue, including 20 of its own originals and other projects such as Infinity Train and Aquaman: King of Atlantis. In a statement, a spokesperson explained the oncoming change is due to the merge between HBO Max and Discovery+.

The streaming giant stated, "As we work toward bringing our content catalogs together under one platform, we will be making changes to the content offering available on both HBO Max and discovery+... That will include the removal of some content from both platforms."

The list of HBO Max Originals includes, 12 Dates of Christmas, About Last Night, Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Close Enough, Ellen’s Next Great Designer, Esme & Roy, The Fungies!, Generation Hustle, Generation, Infinity Train, Little Ellen, My Mom, Your Dad, Odo, Ravi Patel’s Pursuit of Happiness, Summer Camp Island, The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo, The Runaway Bunny, Theodosia, Tig n’ Seek and Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs, including HBO Originals My Dinner with Herve and Share.

The Cartoon Network titles set to disappear from the streaming service include Dodo, Elliott From Earth, Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart, Mighty Magiswords, OK K.O.! – Let’s Be Heroes, Uncle Grandpa and Victor and Valentino. Finally, the acquired titles Detention Adventure, Messy Goes to Okido, Mia’s Magic Playground, The Ollie & Moon Show, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Make It Big, Make It Small and Squish will leave the service alongside them.

Since Warner Bros. and Discovery merged in April, the company, now Warner Bros. Discovery, has undergone a multitude of changes and made numerous announcements, including plans to expand the content library on HBO Max. and improving the budget of original content. President and CEO David Zaslav explained, "Quality is what [Chief Content Officer] Casey [Bloys] and that team is delivering. It’s the best team in the business. We’re doubling down on that HBO team. They’re all committed under contract and we’re going to spend dramatically more this year and next year than we spent last year in the year before."

Beyond the shows and films available for audiences, reports have also surfaced suggesting the coming months will see massive layoffs at Warner Bros. Discovery over the next month, with some suggesting all departments will be affected. The first round of layoffs saw 70 employees cut from HBO Max. On top of that, it was recently reported the suffered a net loss of $3.4 billion over Q2 of this year. Approximately $1 billion of that has been attributed to the cost of restructuring following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.
