WarnerMedia's forthcoming streaming service HBO Max will apparently take the traditional approach when it comes to releasing its episodic content. The streamer will reportedly release its planned content on a weekly basis as opposed to Netflix's all-at-once distribution, which spawned the popular binge-watching culture. While this information hasn't been confirmed by HBO at the time of this writing, it wouldn't be surprising if the company took this approach, as it would fall in line with the method Disney+ plans to utilize with its own streaming service.

HBO Max launches in May 2020 with a price point of $14.99/month. However, the service will be free for AT&T and HBO subscribers, including those who subscribe through HBO Go.
