Hailee Steinfeld, star of the upcoming Hawkeye television series, shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself as Kate Bishop while teasing the show's first trailer.

Steinfeld's selfie, shared on her Twitter page, doesn't give away much in terms of new information regarding Hawkeye but does allow fans a closer look at Kate Bishop's outfit. Clint Barton's protégé is seen wearing her traditional purple color scheme and a holster locked around her shoulders that is likely keeping her quiver in place. Eagle-eyed fans will notice the smear of blood running along her cheek, suggesting that Kate will be involved in some kind of serious scuffle, at the very least. Kate's iconic purple Aviator sunglasses have yet to make an appearance.

Steinfeld will be appearing alongside Jeremy Renner, who plays the original Hawkeye, Clint Barton. Little is currently known about the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series with fans speculating that the show will adapt Matt Fraction and David Aja's comic book arc that features Kate and Clint teaming up to take down the "Tracksuit Mafia."

Beyond Renner and Steinfeld, Hawkeye will also feature the return of Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) who fans would have last seen in Black Widow. Rumor has it that Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, first seen in Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series, will return as an antagonist but this has yet to be confirmed. Hawkeye will also introduce Echo, played by Alaqua Cox, a dead Native American hero and adoptive daughter of Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk known for her photographic reflex powers. Whether Kingpin features in Echo's story remains to be seen.

The first trailer for Hawkeye is expected to drop on Sept. 13, as teased by Jeremy Renner himself. The series will premiere on Disney+ on Nov. 24. Marvel Studios has yet to confirm the episode count for the show but it is expected to feature between six to eight episodes.
