Disney+ released the first trailer for Marvel Studios' Hawkeye, but despite giving fans their first look at Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop in action, one of the biggest takeaways involves Captain America.

The trailer features a brief shot of the in-universe Broadway show titled Rogers: The Musical, which appears to be a play on Hamilton. While the shot of the actor playing a dancing Steve Rogers is quick, it was more than enough to make fans fall in love.

The notion of Cap headlining a stage show isn't unheard of. In Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve was the star of a USO show before proving his formidability as a true soldier by freeing Bucky Barnes and the Howling Commandos from Hydra captivity. As others have pointed out, there were also plans for a Captain America Broadway show in the 1980s, though the project never came to fruition.

Hawkeye is the fifth Marvel Studios series to hit Disney+ and will center on Clint Barton passing the Hawkeye mantle to Kate Bishop. As the trailer and new synopsis also confirm, the series will be a holiday affair, as Clint attempts to get back to his family in time for Christmas.

"[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she's a big Hawkeye fan," Renner recently said while discussing his new co-star. "She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she's such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life."

"That was always my role," he added in regards to mentoring Steinfeld in her first Marvel Studios project. "Outside of acting in the thing, I was protecting her and giving her the CliffsNotes on how it goes with this kind of filmmaking: Green screen, superhero life, all that stuff. I just wanted to protect her, because there's a lot of physical stuff. She's a wonderful actress, a wonderful human, and I can't wait to see all the cool stuff that she's able to do."

Hawkeye arrives on Disney+ Nov. 24.
