Despite massive warning signs during Marvel Studios' Hall H presentation at Comic-Con International in San Diego telling people not to film anything, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner seems to have recorded the teaser for his upcoming eponymous Disney+ show, which he then released online.
The video was put up on the actor's Twitter. In the footage, security shines a flashlight at him and approaches him to get him to stop filming, but eventually backs off. The teaser itself shows Clint Barton/Hawkeye firing arrows followed by a quick glimpse at Kate Bishop/Hawkeye. When she appears on screen, the crowd erupts in cheers. "What a fun line up... so happy to be on this ride #cominginhot #2021," Renner wrote.
As revealed at the Hall H panel, Hawkeye will Clint Barton train Kate Bishop to become a “superhero without superpowers.” The show will also feature of Ronin’s backstory, his new superhero identity in Avengers: Endgame. At this time it's unclear who will be playing Kate on the show.
The Disney+ streaming service will launch this November. The Hawkeye series, starring Jeremy Renner, will premiere in the fall of 2021.
