Clint Barton needs to work on his personal branding, as a new clip from the Disney+ series Hawkeye shows that even after saving the world, he still isn't New York City's favorite archer.

Despite being one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe longest-lasting Avengers, Clint isn't always viewed with the same reverence as his superhero colleagues. As the last of the founding members of the team to receive a solo project, this slight against Hawkeye has been a popular joke with fans for years, and it looks like it'll now be haunting the hero in his TV debut. A new clip from Hawkeye shows Clint scolding his young protégé for wearing a "ninja suit" based on the Ronin identity he used after the Blip, even as he himself has his appearance called into question by the actions of a small child.

In the clip, Jeremy Renner's Clint and Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop walk through Times Square in New York City. While passing through, the pair hear a boy cry out with excitement as he sees a superhero. They turn around to see that the child isn't excited to see Clint but rather a performer dressed up as Ant-Man. As Kate tries to comfort Clint by pointing to somebody who is dressed as him, Hawkeye notices that the performer is actually dressed up as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. A disgruntled Clint then reassures Kate that she is his biggest problem, not his lack of "branding." This slight is particularly funny considering that when both The Hunger Games and The Avengers came out in 2012, Katniss's screen time dwarfed that of Hawkeye, making him the less-popular archer amongst many moviegoers.

Though Kate can't help but chuckle at the situation, Steinfeld knows that stepping up as an archer is no laughing matter. Steinfeld infamously tried to teach herself archery by watching movies and TV shows, only for her instructors to tell her that she had a lot of work left to do. Luckily, she could count on Renner for support. Recalling what it was like to meet Hawkeye himself, Steinfeld said, "The first time we met, Jeremy was like, 'Listen, you're going to get there and you're not even shooting a real arrow, it's all CGI.'"

Hopefully, the pair will be able to get their act together when they're in the heat of battle, as Bishop and Barton are set to face an eclectic mix of threats in Hawkeye. The series will feature Fra Fee as the Clown, a major foe from Matt Fraction, David Aja and Annie Wu's comic book run on Hawkeye. Additionally, the pair will be crossing paths with the Tracksuit Draculas and Vera Farmiga's Eleonor Bishop, whose appearance in Hawkeye may see repeat her villainous deeds from the source material.

Hawkeye will debut with a two-episode season premiere on Nov. 24, exclusively on Disney+.
