Haven Finds Safety At Syfy

With the announcement earlier this year that Syfy canceled its super-science centric Eureka, fans of the network's other shows have been worried about their favorites. Those of you who dig Haven can breathe a sigh of relief because, according to Variety, the drama will return for a 13-episode third season.

The series, which is loosely based on Stephen King's crime novel The Colorado Kid, follows the exploits of former FBI Special Agent Audrey Parker (Emma Rose) as she investigates the mysterious town of Haven, Maine. As Haven progressed over the past two seasons -- the second ended last month, but a holiday special is set to air in December -- the supernatural elements called the Troubles have come to the forefront and helped to create a complex supernatural drama.

Now that they're green lit for a third season, we'll see what happens with the Troubles and the Troubled, and discover even more about Audrey's relationship with the town of Haven.
