Hasbro has unveiled this year's Marvel Legends set exclusive to Comic-Con International in San Diego, which includes a life-size Tesseract.

Debuting at the Hasbro booth this month at SDDC 2018, the exclusive set includes a six inch figure of the Red Skull, as he appeared in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, wielding his own Cosmic Cube. In addition to the iconic Marvel villain, the set comes with a 3.63 square inch, battery-powered Tesseract that can light up.

The Tesseract was first created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1966's Tales of Suspense #79 as the Cosmic Cube. The reality-changing artifact has been sought after by many Marvel villains since its introduction including the Red Skull and Thanos.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Cube was reimagined as housing the Space Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones, and officially renamed the Tesseract. The artifact first debuted in 2011's Thor and figured prominently later that year in Captain America: The First Avenger and 2012's The Avengers. Long-sought by Thanos, the Tesseract fell into the Mad Titan's possession in this year's Avengers: Infinity War to help power the Infinity Gauntlet.
