Twin Ion Engines -- or TIE Fighters -- will live on in the new Stars Wars movies, and on collectors' shelves.

At Comic-Con International this week, Hasbro revealed the first toys in its upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens toy line, starting with a glimpse of what to expect from the movie's villains: a brand-new, 26-inches tall, $170 TIE Fighter along with, naturally, its pilot.

The TIE Fighter is part of The Black Series, Hasbro's high-end collectible Star Wars line. The TIE Fighter -- which takes the familiar look of the spacecraft and adds some cool enhancements, like that touch of red -- belongs to the “First Order” group, which was born from the ashes of the Galactic Empire after the Battle of Endor at the end of Return of the Jedi.
