An upcoming line of Marvel Legends action figures will let fans recreate a classic X-Men meme.

At Hasbro Pulse Con 2021, Hasbro unveiled a new wave of action figures inspired by X-Men: The Animated Series. These toys will be available in collectible packaging that recreates the box art of the original VHS releases of the cartoon and will be painted to look like cel-shaded animation. The first two characters to be featured in the line will be Wolverine and Jubilee.

Each figure will come with a wealth of accessories and alternate parts. Jubilee is being released with two blast effects mimicking the effects of her powers. She also comes with multiple heads and sunglasses, so collectors can choose between bright pink glasses, darker magenta glasses or glasses on Jubilee's forehead. In the case of Wolverine, he will come with two pairs of hands that allow him to have his claws sheathed or unsheathed, a neutral face and a grimacing face with gritted teeth. Additionally, Logan comes with a framed picture of Scott and Jean that allows fans to recreate the "Wolverine Crush" meme. This hilarious moment was previously captured in SDCC Exclusive Mondo action figure for $200. For this release however, Hasbro is only charging $26.99 per figure.

Also at Pulse At Hasbro Pulse Con 2021, the company revealed the first characters in a line designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Marvel Legends. Additionally, the Scarlet Witch and the Vision in his white attire will be joining its retro carded West Coast Avengers action figures. As part of the event, Hasbro listed exclusive collectibles on its website, such as the "World Domination Tour Collection" M.O.D.O.K. action figure and a throwback Venom figure that replicates the stylized color scheme of the '90s cartoon intro.

Launching this new line with Wolverine and Jubilee is no mere coincidence, as their close relationship was vital to both characters' development. In the comics, a young Jubilee saved Wolverine from the Reavers, which resulted in Logan taking her on as a sidekick. Once Jubilee joined the X-Men, she benefitted from Logan's battle experience and knowledge of the world, while Jubilee offered up a fresh perspective to her weathered mentor, providing him with a renewed sense of purpose.

Logan is preparing to start 2022 off with the dual five-issue miniseries X Lives of Wolverine and X Deaths of Wolverine. The two titles will come out on alternating weeks and will have intertwining narratives that fit into one larger whole. Both books will be written by Benjamin Percy, who says that he wants this to be "the greatest Wolverine story ever told." It follows Wolverine as he travels through time on a mission to prevent the death of a key figure in mutant history.
