Three fan-favorite new characters from Marvel's Star Wars are being immortalized by Hasbro as vintage-style action figures.

Debuting in July as Comic-Con International exclusive, Doctor Aphra and her murderous droid companions Triple Zero and BT-1 will be offered by Hasbro in a limited-quantity three-pack. Priced at $50, the set will also be offered in August at FanExpo Canada, with a limited run available later online through the Hasbro Toy Shop.

Introduced by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca in 2015's Star Wars: Darth Vader #3, the dark trio quickly became fan-favorite characters. Aphra was conceived by Gillen as the ideological opposite of archaeologist Indiana Jones, while Triple Zero and BT were envisioned as lethal analogues to C-3PO and R2-D2.

Following their debut as illicit partners of Darth Vader, the characters received their own ongoing comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, launched in 2016 by Gillen and artist Kev Walker.

The upcoming action figure set includes a blaster for Aphra and an array of weaponry and attachments for BT. Aphra will receive her own standalone figure as part of Hasbro's Star Wars Vintage Collection later in the year after winning an online fan poll, although there are no announced plans to develop standalone figures for Triple Zero or BT.
