Summer is here and that means Comic-Con International in San Diego  is right around the corner. Known for all the movies, TV shows, celebrities and cosplayers that head down to the show, SDCC also houses plenty of toy exclusives. With Marvel and Netflix’s The Defenders TV show expected to appear this year at SDCC, preparations are being made to further whet fans’ appetites.

In this case, one of the top toy exclusives will be none other than Daredevil, the Man Without Fear. Presented by Hasbro, the Daredevil figure stands 12” tall and comes off the Legends line. The figure is based off the look in the Daredevil comic books, rather than the actor Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock on Daredevil and will do so, eventually, in The Defenders.

Fully articulated, the action figure comes with a bunch of accessories and interchangeable parts, like an unmasked head that reveals a red-haired Murdock. One of the most notable aspects of the toy is not the toy itself, but rather the packaging. Featuring original artwork by Marvel’s chief creative officer and renowned artist Joe Quesada, the back of the package also features braille. Additionally, there are two posters inside the box, too.

The Legends Daredevil figure will be available at this years’ SDCC for $59.99 over at the toy maker’s booth during show hours from July 20-23. After the show, there will be a limited number of the figures that will be sold online at Hasbro’s website.

Arriving Aug. 18 on Netflix, the eight-episode The Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios, Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.
