J.K. Rowling is on her way to becoming the most successful indie author in the world. The writer who made millions off the Harry Potter franchise is now publishing some new Harry Potter eBooks that will be available through her Pottermore Publishing imprint.These eBooks are listed as "non-fiction eBook shorts, adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic," which was released through Pottermore in 2017 and narrated by Natalie Dormer. According to Pottermore, there will be four of these eBook shorts and they are inspired by the lessons taught at Hogwarts. The idea is to create short works that take fans inside the world of Harry Potter to learn more about the folklore and magic.

These include Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures.

The first two books, Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions and Herbology will  go on sale on June 27 at both Pottermore as well as on Amazon, Apple Books, and Kobo. According to Amazon, the price is also low, at just $2.99.

They are also available in English, French, Italian, and German. The other books, Divination and Astronomy, and Care of Magical Creatures, have no release date yet. According to Pottermore, the books will also include sketches, manuscript pages, and notes.
